TEID was invited to AmCham’s first Sustainability Committee meeting of the year hold under the theme “Ethics, Compliance and Third-Party Integrity Related Risks Management”.
Our Board Members Fikret SEBİLCİOĞLU and Av. Altuğ ÖZGÜN hold fruitful discussions on key issues around ethics, global compliance standards, practices and responsibility of the businesses in a new era: “What should be done in the efficient management of third party related ethics and compliance risks?”
AmCham/ABFT Sustainability Committee’s mission is to support value creation for members and stakeholders by integrating ethical, social and environmental responsibility into daily business activities. Its purpose is to ensure that businesses have in place policies, standards, systems and people required to identify and meet the international standards and agreements in the social, environmental and economic (SEE) area formally committed to.
Within this framework, among other joint initiatives with TEİD, the speakers shared with the audience, an online assessment tool, which might be used by multinational companies, in order to measure and evaluate ethical & compliance efficiency of their third parties and suppliers.
